Dear All Members,
Greetings!!
I hope all members are safe and staying at home with their family members.
The Pune Municipal Corporation is planning to make an ICU in 3 hospitals in Pune and in order to extend all possible facilities to fight against Coronavirus (COVID-19).
In this regard, Pune Customs has made an appeal to our Association members to contribute for the said purpose. Pune Customs has decided to donate articles such as ICU Beds, Mattresses, Laryngoscope, Oxygen Cylinders, Nebulisers and so on.
The Committee has decided to make an appeal to all members of the association to donate Association ( as urgent as possible) and an association will issue a cheque to Customs.
I along with all Committee members hereby make an appeal to all members of the association to contribute the funds as much as possible for this noble cause. I want to inform herewith :
Members are requested to make an NEFT /RTGS as fast possible to PCHAA Account online transfer as depositing a cheque is not possible during lockdown. The PCHAA Account details given below.
There is no compulsion for donation but if you wish to donate, we request you to please make minimum Rs.2,500/- and maximum as you wish.
An association will make payment to Customs by Cheque only
All Donors will get receipt from PCHAA but after lockdown period is over

Dear Members , We are happy to announce that Government of India, Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneur have rolled out the course on Recognition of Prior Learning Program for members and their employees of Logistics Sector. We Pune Customs House Agents’ Association with Federation of Freight Forwarders Association In India and Ministry of Skill Development are organizing one day certification course on Recognition of Prior Learning Course for our members and their employees. The intention of the Logistics Sector Council is to upgrade the sector through structured training. Logistics Sector till date has not had the benefit of structured training . This program will help our members and their employees to upgrade their knowledge as per the current requirements for logistics sector. The details will be explained within 4-5 days . This course is for Customs Brokers , Freight Forwarders , IATA Agents , Transporters , Shipping lines , Employees of Shipping lines , Surveyors , ICDs , Custodians . They all are eligible to attend this course. The brief of the program and benefits are given below. It is one day program for 6-7 Hours. 1. Name of the program – RPL – RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING COURSE – NSQF 4 CERTIFICATION a. Logistics Sector Skill Council will upload the database of candidates skilled and certified in Skill India portal. b. Logistics Sector Skill Council will provide every participant who passes the assessment after the training with : I. Rs. 500/- for each candidate for undertaking the training. II. Government approved Certificate – the same shall be a valid Govt recognition of skill based ability and can be stored in individual Digilocker. III. Mark sheet IV. Kaushal Bima Insurance covering up to Rs. 2 lacs for 3 years. ( As per Government announcement) V. T-Shirt/Jacket and Cap. c. Assessment will be conducted by LSC though online portal. We Pune Customs House Agents’ Association request you to submit below details not later than 15th March’2020. First batch will be of 150-200 Members which includes Employees of All CHAs, Employees of Freight Forwarders , Employees of Shipping Lines , Transporters , Employees of all ICDs , Surveyors , or any logistics companies. a. Letter of Intent from participating companies to be submitted which will include · Name of Employer · Name and address of Employer locations to be made available for the scheme · Job roles for which RPL is required · Number of candidates available to RPL certification b. Documents required for candidates for registration. · Copy of Aadhar / PAN card · Copy of Education Certificates (10th/12th/Any Degree) · Copy of Pass Book 1st Page or Bank Statement · Passport Size Photo We are enclosing LSC Format in PDF form to be submitted to PCHAA Secretariat within 3-4 working days. Hard copies of PAN / Aadhar / Education Certificate / Photo / Copy of Pass book can be submitted afterwards. EXACT VENUE / TIME / DATE WILL BE INFORMED ON OR BEFORE 25TH MARCH 2020.
